Poem: Seasons, Part Two

The second part of my poem collection for World Mental Health Day, which was on October 10th. Here we conclude with Spring and Summer. Furthermore, more short stories and poems to come. Enjoy!

Spring

The Mind, Body, and Soul,

Thawing out with time,

First rays of light striking the earth,

As the darkness escapes reluctantly

For Winter is not far behind

Summer

Smiling faces all around,

Basking in the radiance of the light.

Caricatures of happiness,

But do they smile inside?

To err and join the suspect smiles,

An atrocious aberration,

For Winter is to come anew.
