Poem: Seasons, Part One

This collection was originally made by me for World Mental Health Day, which was on October 10th. We begin with Autumn and Winter, and culminate with Spring and Summer. Part one today, and part two tomorrow! Let me know what you think!

Autumn

Cascading colours call to ruin.

A sense of dread, of fear,

Crawling in the back of the mind.

Visibly real with each falling leaf,

For Winter is yet to come

Winter

The malevolent midnight ascends,

As the mind descends with the light

Seeking darker thoughts,

Sinister silence and solitude.

Thoughts, more insidious,

More harmful than the last,

For Winter is upon us all
